Circle Bar B Guest Ranch sits up Refugio Canyon on the Gaviota Coast, just past Goleta, on more than 1,000 acres of oaks, walnut trees and creekside trails. The family-run ranch has been welcoming guests since 1939, and it’s one of the venues I’ve played most, so often that it feels like my second home. I’ve DJed weddings here since 2016.
Couples usually say their vows and dance under the old oaks strung with lights, with the lodge and its covered patio right alongside, and guests can stay overnight in the ranch’s cabins and rooms. More than one of my Circle Bar B couples partied late into the night.
Sound everywhere on the ranch
Circle Bar B weddings spread out: a ceremony under the trees, cocktail hour on the patio, then dinner and dancing under the oaks. I've run as many as three separate sound systems here, with battery-powered speakers for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, so every part of the ranch sounds right.
Up-lighting under the oaks
Up-lighting inside the lodge and out on the oaks turns the ranch into something magical after dark, with elegant columns of light in your colors, all controlled wirelessly from my DJ booth.
