For Amanda, the music at her wedding was crucial. It had to be perfect, and the dance floor had to be packed. She found me after coming across one of my live-mixing videos on Instagram, and in 2024 I DJed and MCed her wedding at El Paseo in downtown Santa Barbara.

Planning every moment
In the months before the wedding, we talked through every part of the day by phone and text, from the first dance to a few surprise dances the couple had planned. I made custom mixes for those moments so each one landed exactly the way they pictured it.
The night at El Paseo
Here’s a clip from the reception. They didn’t expect this mix!
As MC, I cued the couple for every moment, so they never had to wonder what came next and could simply enjoy the night. By the end of the evening the floor was so full that we didn’t even change songs for the cake cutting, and the party kept going until it was time to close down El Paseo.
In Amanda’s words
So the music for our wedding was CRUCIAL for me as it had to be PERFECT. I knew that dance floor had to be LIT. … It was the exact high energy and excitement we wanted. … After the wedding we had so many compliments from people about our dance floor and music. Truly it was a BLAST and we could not have done it without Justin.
