Leigh and Kyle found me through their photographer, and in August 2025 I DJed and MCed their wedding at Arnoldi’s Cafe on Olive Street in Santa Barbara. About 70 guests, a garden patio full of flowers and string lights, and a dance floor that filled up fast.

Setting up the patio
Arnoldi’s reception space is an outdoor garden patio, with bistro lights strung overhead and flowers climbing the walls. I set up my booth at the edge of the dance floor and framed it with LED light columns, so the dance floor had its own glow after sunset without competing with the string lights and greenery that make the patio special.

The night at Arnoldi’s
Once dinner wrapped, the patio turned into one big dance floor. Grandparents, kids, the wedding party and everyone in between were out there, and the wedding party gathered around Leigh right in front of the booth. I kept the music moving across genres and decades with creative, stylized transitions, reading the crowd and changing direction whenever the room told me to, so the floor stayed full until the last song.
In Leigh’s words
My husband and I can’t say enough amazing things about DJ Jas.
